DAVID DEFRANK

Clovis Unified School Board Trustee

In these unprecedented times, it's more important than ever to fight for the needs of our kids. We can't be passive if we want students to thrive in the midst of uncertainty.

Fortunately, Clovis Unified is already an incredible school district. Our dedicated teachers truly care for their students. Parents are informed and involved, helping their children thrive at school. Talented administrators, coaches, and staff are constantly innovating – and have received national recognition for it. And our students are some of the best and brightest in the country. I will work to safeguard our district's well-earned reputation of achievement and excellence.

About David

David grew up in Fresno before attending UC Davis, where he earned graduate degrees in both law and business. David and his wife Molly returned to the Central Valley nearly a decade ago, and their budding family grew quickly. They have five children in Clovis schools, in addition to the foster children periodically in their care.

David knows firsthand how education can equip and empower children to thrive. He is committed to being a conscientious board member who continuously seeks to improve an already-great school district.

David works locally as an attorney, enjoys spending time with his family, and serving through his church, The Well.
